The Milestone Strategies team consists of
seasoned individuals with extensive experience of product marketing,
business development, sales operations and generating revenues for
technology companies.
Bill Baker
Bill specializes in the semiconductor and electronics markets
with concentrations in manufacturing outsourcing and services
for the communications, electronics, and photonics industries.
His career includes over twenty five years of executive sales,
marketing, and business development including six years as a
General Manager and Senior Vice President of RVSI, an industry
leading major semiconductor metrology manufacturer. Mr. Baker
has co-founded two industry data communications start-ups
including Express Support Services in California that led to
merger/ acquisition events and been an integral part of two
communications industry successful turn-arounds in his career.
While at ESS, Mr. Baker led a tripling of product and services
revenues that keyed future positioning and growth during the
telecommunications deregulation period. He is active in a number
of high tech industry associations including SEMI, SMTA, and OFC
and is a frequent public speaker for representative companies at
technical and business forums. Major engagements have included
Solectron, Flextronics, and Jabil Circuits in the EMS community:
Cisco, Nortel, and Lucent Technology in communications, and
Motorola, TI, and Intel in the semiconductor industry. Mr. Baker
did his undergraduate work at Defiance College and Western
Connecticut State College and majored in Economics.

Alan Creutz, Ph.D.
Alan drives the success of early- and emerging growth
companies and companies in transition, focusing on business
strategy and planning, internal operations, company positioning
and product marketing, business development, project
implementation and product deployment. Drawing on his experience
in creating and building highly successful international
companies, he leverages strong analytical capabilities with
strategic vision, outstanding leadership, and compelling
presentations. Recently Alan was President of a startup with
innovative networking technology for providing intelligence for
sensor networks and led the company to its acquisition by
Lockheed Martin. Previously, Alan created an application
software company which was acquired by a major enterprise
application suite vendor where Alan became the senior executive
of a vertical market business unit charged with product
marketing and development, professional services and customer
support, and overall operations as the acquiring company scaled
from $12million/year to $100million with divisions and customers
throughout the world. A certified “New Product Development
Professional” by the Product Development and Management
Association, Alan has been named “San Diego Businessman of the
Year” and serves as a Board Member of several emerging growth
companies as well as the San Diego Tech Coast Angels.

Scott McGill
Scott has spent the past 18 years developing product, marketing
and sales strategies across a broad range of technology sectors,
including Semiconductor, Electronics and Biotechnology. Mr.
McGill evolved his engineering background into that of business
development providing strategic marketing skills with ability to
define and drive future market requirements and quickly convert
vision to product. During his tenure at companies such as
Lockheed, Compaq Computer and RVSI, he has taken a
“customer-centric” approach while developing successful customer
relations within the U.S, Europe and Asia. Mr. McGill’s
responsibilities have ranged from Engineering Program Manager,
to Senior Vice President, providing leadership which has
concluded in successful equity and M/A exits. Key areas of
interest include metrology, traceability, and process
integration solutions development. During his career, Mr. McGill
has been granted several patents, published numerous technical
and marketing papers, and sat on a variety of industry
committees. Mr. McGill received a Bachelor’s of Engineering
degree from the University of Arizona and a Master’s of
Engineering from Pennsylvania State University. Mr. McGill
currently resides in Austin, Texas.
